The Wines of Italy - Centuries of Winemaking

The first of four wine events in the “Wine Series” planned and organized for BABA by Christopher Parker, BABA member, Entrepreneur, Wine Educator and Artist.

Italy has the longest uninterrupted winemaking tradition of any wine-producing country. The diversity of Italian grape varieties and wines, the culture and traditions and regional food makes for an exciting voyage of discovery.

Join us for the first of four events planned for the 2022 Wine Series. “The Wines of Italy - Centuries of Winemaking”  will be an overview of Italy with an emphasis on Northern and Central Italy. It will also serve as a precursor to the second event in the series when we will have a guest speaker, a pioneering winemaker from Italy, joining us via video from his Podere (small wine estate) in Tuscany.

Open your favorite bottle of Italian white or red wine from Tuscany or Piemonte wine and join in the discussion. If you would like suggestions on wines let us know and Chris will be happy to help
